The first suspect was handed over to the police with a four-day remand
Amna Aruj, accused in the kidnapping case of well-known Pakistani playwright Khalilur Rehman Qamar, was remanded in custody for an additional four days. This development came after the suspect’s initial three-day physical custody ended and she was produced before the Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore. The hearing, conducted by Magistrate Nabeela Amir, sought clarification from Aruj on the charges against her. Aruj, who works as a model, said she had only invited Qamar and denied any involvement in the abduction.
