18.50 Rs petrol price slash announced by PM Shehbaz

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has slashed petrol and diesel prices by Rs18.50 and Rs40.54 respectively. Addressing the nation on Thursday night, the premier cited declining oil prices in the international market as the reason for the decision. The new price of petrol will be Rs230.24 and diesel will cost Rs236. The prime minister began his speech by explaining that the coalition government inherited a troubled economy from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
