ECP delists Pervez Musharraf’s APML

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has delisted the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) as a political party. A 14-page written verdict was issued by a three-member bench headed by the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja. The commission in a case related to the intra-party elections and allotment of election symbol held that there are no elected office bearers of APML, therefore, the party is virtually non-existent, and its registration has been suspended. Pervez Musharraf’s body arrives in Karachi

Pakistan’s former military ruler General Pervez Musharraf’s mortal remains arrived on Monday on a special flight from Dubai and he will be buried on Tuesday in the Army Cantonment area where all arrangements have been completed, officials said. Musharraf, the architect of the Kargil War in 1999 and Pakistan’s last military ruler, died on Sunday in Dubai after a prolonged illness. Musharraf’s wife Saba, son Bilal, daughter and other close relatives arrived with the body on the special Airbus 319 aircraft of Malta aviation arranged by the UAE authorities. Former dictator Gen (R) Pervez Musharraf passes away at 79

Former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf Sunday passed away in a Dubai hospital at the age of 79. The former military ruler had been undergoing treatment for an ailment at an American Hospital Dubai. Musharraf was born on August 11, 1943, in Delhi and completed his early education at St Patrick’s High School in Karachi. The former president pursued higher education at Forman Christian College in Lahore.

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) on Monday ordered to release the accused who attacked the former president and army chief General (retd) Pervez Musharraf. ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that Pervez Musharraf is in such a condition that he cannot even apologize. Speaking to private media, Sanaullah claimed that there would be no long march and Imran Khan would not be able to move beyond Attock Bridge. Pervez Musharraf recovery not possible, says family

ISLAMABAD: Family of former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf has rejected the reports circulating on social media about his death. However, the family said he was going through a difficult stage where recovery was not possible as organs were malfunctioning. The family members confirmed that he was not on the ventilator though.
