Peasant leader Manzoor Laghari still not recovered

Mr Manzoor Laghari, a peasant rights activist, was kidnapped by four unknown people, who came in a colour car at the village of Mr Laghari and said Station House Officer, Police Sinjhoro has called you for a meeting. According to the details, the incident happened on 27 April 2023 at around 7:30pm. SHRDN issued statement on the incident with demand of his safe recovery and release and protection to his family witnessed the incident and lodgment of the case against the unknown culprit. The Sindh Human Rights Defenders Network is deeply concerned with the developing story regarding the abduction of peasant leader, Manzoor Leghari. Leghari’s brother Mr Nawaz Ali told the news channels and Sindh Human Rights Defenders Network that his brother was abducted in a white Corola Car by four plain cloth people from near village Jaffar Khan Leghari in district Sanghar, Sindh on thursday, 26 April 2023.
