Security forces intensify anti-terror operation in Kurram, curfew imposed in Bagan
Kurram – Security forces have imposed a curfew in the Bagan area and intensified operations to restore peace in the district. Law enforcement agencies have taken control of bunkers, evacuating Bagan and surrounding areas. However, the demolition of bunkers has been halted. The Thall-Parachinar main highway remains closed for the 113th day, disrupting supplies to over 100 villages. Business centers, petrol stations, and hotels remain shut in violence-affected areas, with internet services still suspended. The district administration reported progress in identifying suspects linked to the recent convoy attack near Bagan. A case has been registered at the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD)
