Shaheen Afridi becomes No. 1 Draft Pick for BBL, 6 Other Players set: Complete List

Pakistan’s rhythm Shaheen Shah Afridi has been selected as the first total option in the 15 -Bash Bash League (BBL) design, with Brisbane Heat securing the left arm bowler in the Platinum category, signaling his debut in Australia’s primary competition. The 25 -year -old Afridi is among the seven Pakistani players who will appear in the BBL 2025-26 era – most of the country in a single version – reflecting the growing demand for Pakistan’s international talent in the Franchise World Championships. The plan, held in Melbourne on June 18, saw six of the eight BBL franchises secure Pakistani cricket.
