Man “tricks” friend into gender reassignment surgery to fulfill marriage plan

UTTAR PRADESH: A 20-year-old man reportedly underwent an unwanted gender reassignment after being lured to hospital by a “friend” to fulfill a marriage plan in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. According to Indian media, the victim, Mujahid, was betrayed by a friend who had been threatening and harassing him for two years. On June 3, Mujahid was fraudulently taken to a local medical college in Muzaffarnagar on the pretext that he needed an urgent medical examination. Mujahid had no idea what was going to happen at the hospital and came trusting his friend. Upon arrival, hospital staff administered anesthesia
