Mannat apologises for bareheaded fashion shoot in Kartarpur

KARTARPUR: Fashion brand Mannat is under fire after it shared pictures of a “bareheaded” fashion shoot in Kartarpur, a holy site for Sikhs where covering one’s head is required for everyone regardless of their religious faith. Journalist Ravinder Singh Robin took to Twitter to signal how the religious sentiments of Sikhs had been hurt by the shoot. Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry also demanded an apology from the designer and model.
