Pakistan supports UN’s role to address global challenges: Dar

The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar has reaffirmed Pakistan’s support for the United Nations’ central role in addressing global challenges. Talking to United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in New York, he also called for a just resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with Security Council resolutions. While condemning Israel’s atrocities against the Palestinian people, the Deputy Prime Minister reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for a two-state solution. CDWP approves 16 development projects worth Rs259.68b

The Central Development Working Party has approved 16 development projects worth of 259.68 billion rupees. The approval was given during a meeting of the CDWP in Islamabad with Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Ahsan Iqbal in the chair. Out of these, seven projects were recommended to the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council for its consideration and approval.
