Bullion opened the new business week unchanged at Rs427,736 a tola for 24-karat gold, with international spot at $4,053 an ounce. Fuel prices are also holding, at Rs335.18 for petrol and Rs383.46 for diesel, after OGRA left rates untouched over a weekend on which Platts benchmarks were not published.

Gold edged higher in Pakistan's bullion market on Saturday, with 24-karat rates climbing to Rs427,736 per tola as Gulf conflict risk, elevated crude prices and a shifting Federal Reserve rate outlook kept investors in safe-haven mode. The rupee held steady against the dollar even as the equity market closed the week lower.
Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Tuesday, reflecting profits on the international market, as investors’ feeling remained optimistic amid strong dynamics. According to data published by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold increased by RS2,100 per Tola, reaching RS349,200 on the local market. The 10 grams of gold also saw a notable increase in Rs1,800, closing in Rs299,382.
