Pakistan, Australia agree to enhance bilateral trade in textile, tourism fields

Pakistan and Australia have agreed to enhance bilateral trade, especially in the fields of agriculture, textile and tourism. The understanding was reached during a meeting between Commerce Minister Syed Naveed Qamar and Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan Neil Hawkins in Islamabad. The two sides discussed the possibility of preferential market access under formal arrangements like PTA and FTA between Pakistan and Australia.
