Punjab Police confirms attack on journalist Ambreen Fatima

LAHORE: Punjab Police has confirmed the attack on Ambreen Fatima, the wife of Ahmad Noorani in the Ghaziabad area. Taking to Twitter, the official account for Punjab Police stated that the incident occurred last night in which unidentified people broke the windscreen of Ambreen Fatima’s car. According to the police, Ambreen brought the car to the police station herself and that an investigation has started. The police has also confirmed that a case has been registered and the relevant SP Police is leading the investigation and trying to ascertain the identities of the individuals using CCTV cameras.
