FAO officials meet with Pakistani officials. The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) resulted in a critical emergency project that supported the agricultural and farming communities in Balochistan and Sindh provinces, which became strong through generous funding by the Japanese government. The intervention under the leadership of the FAO, backed by a $ 6.48 million contribution, focused on restoring food production, improving household nutrition and building long -term resilience in areas destroyed by 2022. Over 74,000 households-is of more than 520,000 people-were benefited from the initiative, which combines agricultural support with animal protection and targeted help for women’s families.
