Pakistan Afghan Enforcement at 8,400 Deported in Three Days as Provinces Submit First Daily Reports
Pakistan's Afghan enforcement drive has deported 8,400 people in the three days since the July 10 arrest deadline, with more than 2,940 removed on Thursday July 9 alone, according to figures from the Taliban's returnee commission. Provinces submitted their first daily enforcement reports to the Interior Ministry on July 11-12. In Peshawar, around 20,000 undocumented Afghans are being prepared for deportation in what would be the single largest single-city removal operation since the drive began.
