2 MNAs, 8 workers arrested by Islamabad Police in Parliament Lodges

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police conducted an operation in the Parliament Lodges after which two MNAs of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) Salahuddin Ayyubi and Ansaarul Islam were arrested. According to the details, the police broke into Lodge 401 inside Parliament Lodges after they claimed that JUIF workers were present inside. PMLN MNA Khawaja Saad Rafique was attacked by the police and sustained an injury on his foot during the operation. PMLN MNA Khawaja Asif has claimed that the operation in Parliament Lodges is an attempt to reduce the Opposition’s numbers game since he claimed the Opposition had enough numbers to dislodge Imran Khan.
