
Lodhran: Deputy Commissioner Syed Mashhad Raza Kazmi made a surprise visit to Gogaran, a suburb of Lodhran, to review the supply of free flour to the citizens under the special Ramadan package.
Deputy Commissioner ordered the expansion of the flour supply point established at Government Associate College, Gogradan. He also directed to provide other facilities to the citizens. Assistant Commissioner Ashraf Saleh, DSP President Circle Mehr Ishaq Sial and other officers were also present on this occasion. Deputy Commissioner said that to avoid rush, the process of supplying flour should be completed at lightning speed in minimum time. He said that citizens coming to get free flour should also show discipline.
Deputy Commissioner also inspected the Municipal Stadium Lodhran flour supply point to review the process of supply of free flour and gave on-the-spot orders for redressal of public grievances. He said that the purpose of distribution of free flour under Ramadan package is to provide relief to deserving people. He said that maximum care should be taken for the convenience of the people at the dough points. Deputy Commissioner Syed Mashhad Raza Kazmi also encouraged the police officers and revenue officers present on the spot and appreciated their services.

Deputy Commissioner visited the free flour points set up at Government Graduate College, Government Associate College, Lodhran Public School, Lodhran Marriage Hall, Municipal Stadium, Government Boys High School Gagan Hatta and Zamzam Marriage Hall Lodhran and distributed to the public. He reviewed the facilities. He inquired about the free flour scheme from the citizens and directed the government employees on the occasion to treat the visiting citizens with courtesy and ensure that at least It is possible to supply flour in less time.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Syed Mashhad Raza Kazmi said that the government of Punjab has started providing free flour to the beneficiaries and more than 3 lakh people of the district will benefit from this scheme. He said that with this unique scheme of its kind, the people are being given their right directly for the first time.
He directed the public to check their eligibility for free flour by sending a message to 8070 and after receiving the confirmation message, go to the specified points and get the free flour. He further said that the supply of free flour will continue till 25th of Ramadan. On this occasion, District Police Officer Hussam bin Iqbal also reviewed the security measures taken at the free flour points and directed the policemen on duty to discharge their duties responsibly.
