Students at University of Peshawar protested against on-campus exams

PESHAWAR: Students at the University of Peshawar protested on Wednesday outside the varsity’s administration block against on-campus exams.

The students said since they attended lectures virtually, the varsity administration should allow the students to take the exams commencing from January 25, online rather than physically.

“Classes were taken online and now exams are being taken physically,” one of them said. They requested the government to hold online exams amid the coronavirus.

The university students across the country are protesting against online exams during the past few days.

Meanwhile, the varsities across the country moved their final exams on campus last week after the government announced that universities will reopen from February 1.
