According to a recent poll on Twitter run by the UAE based Khaleej Magazine, the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) is the most popular political party in Pakistan.
The question asked in the poll was: Pakistan: In election 2023, to which political party you will support?
A total of 42,179 people voted in the poll which reflected overwhelming support for the PTI which bagged over 86.9% of the total votes.
The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) was the runner up in the poll, scoring a disappointing 6.6% while the Pakistan People’s Party lagged further behind at third place with 4.7% of the total votes.
Collectively, the opposition parties scored less than 15% of the total votes reflecting that the majority of followers of Khaleej Magazine support the ruling PTI.
