SIALKOT: The concerned authorities have decided to make Malik Adnan, who tried to save the life of a Sri Lankan citizen in Sialkot, as a witness in the lynching case.
According to details, as many as 85 people have been arrested in connection with the killing of Priyantha Kumara.
All the detained suspects will be produced before Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Gujranwala today.
Previously, 18 more suspects were produced before Lahore’s Forensic Lab in connection with the Sialkot lynching case.
Earlier, the concerned authorities had forwarded an initial report on the incident to Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Usman Buzdar.
A mob in Sialkot tortured a Sri Lankan national to death and then burnt his body.
The incident occurred on Sialkot’s Wazirabad Road, where workers of private factories attacked the export manager of a factory and burnt his body over alleged blasphemy.
