Sharmila Faruqui has strongly criticized Danish Taimoor’s recent observations on polygamy, which took place during an episode of Mehfil-e-RamzanA Ramazan broadcast that Taimoor co-festers with Rabia Anam.
During the episode, Taimoor unexpectedly shared his views on many marriages in Islam, which created rage between spectators – and the whole nation.
Taimoor’s comments, where he said he “allowed” four marriages in Islam and how the “right of God who cannot be kidnapped” is, his words reported that he “did a favor” to Ayeza Khan, without getting married again, drew a significant reaction.
Faruqui, a member of the National Assembly, has never been ashamed of the voice of opinion on such issues.
She took on Instagram to express her views on Taimoor’s statement.
He wrote: “The observation of the Danish Taimoor – that” allowed “four marriages in Islam, but” does a grace “to Ayeza Khan, without getting married again – is not only arrogant, it is an obvious reflection of how people handle the religion that fits their sovereignty.” Marriage with dynamic power and not with a partnership.
“Polygamy in Islam is not a privilege that is delivered to men in their convenience, it is an exception under righteous justice conditions – conditions most men do not respond,” Faruqui added.
They didn’t lie there!
In her fierce caption, she further said: “This is the real problem: men who believe that their wives are gratitude for not being rejected or replaced.”
Faruqui has made it clear that women do not need men, but require respect, agencies and recognition that marriage should be considered a partnership, not a charity act.
Her statement reflects her broader attitude on gender equality and the need for respectful relationships.
Responding to a significant reaction from fans and celebrities, Denmark Taimoor has apologized to Instagram.
He posted a video admitting that his choice was inappropriate and that he failed to express his pursued message.
Taimoor specifically referred to the word “Filhaal”, which was the source of much of online rage.
Ayeza Khan herself commented on the video to support her husband, “Allah always keep us together forever. I love you.
His apology underlined with “I Love You All ❤ However, it aims to calm the situation and smooth out the dispute.
