Senate chairman refuses Lok Sabha speaker’s invite to visit India

ISLAMABAD:Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjarani has turned down an invitation to attend the centenary celebrations of the Indian Lok Sabha Public Accounts Committee.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind will address to the ceremony.

Sadiq Sanjarani said that he would not attend any event in India till the illegal move of 5 August is withdrawn. He said that the Modi government has done an injustice by repealing Articles 370 and 35A.

The centenary celebrations of the Lok Sabha Public Accounts Committee will be held on December 4.
