ISLAMABAD: Security Forces conducted an Intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Mir Ali, North Waziristan based on the confirmation of the presence of terrorists, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement.
During the exchange of fire terrorist commander Hassan alias Sajna of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Hafiz Gul Bahadur group killed.
According to the Military media wing, Hassan alias Sajna was involved in the killing of 4 women worker yesterday (Monday) in Mir Ali.
The killed terrorist remained involved in terrorist activities against Security Forces and peaceful civilians including IED attacks, kidnapping for ransom, target killing, extortion and also involved in recruiting terrorists.
The cache of arms & weapons recovered. Area sanitisation was carried out by security forces. However, ISPR didn’t share more details.
This comes as Four women working with NGO were killed in the Mir Ali, North Waziristan tribal district in firing on their vehicle according to the police. Their driver was however injured during the attack.
