Sanam Jung, daughter, recovers from coronavirus, thanks fans for prayers
Famed showbiz actress and morning show host Sanam Jung announced that she and her daughter Alaya recovered from their battle with Covid-19.
In a post on Instagram, the Alvida star revealed that the mother-daughter duo is back in good health and thanked their fans for their prayers and support.
She also shared a cute picture of the two of them post quarantine.
“Alhamdullilah, Alaya and I have recovered from Covid-19 and we want to thank you all for the prayers and wishes that kept coming our way. This post is to let you all know that we’re healthy and doing well. During this time I’ve received various calls and messages. I want to thank you all for being there and praying for us. Love you all,” the caption read.
The mother-daughter duo tested positive for the virus on December 14.
Jung revealed her tests results in an Instagram story and asked people to take the pandemic seriously. She advised everyone to wear face masks and avoid going to public places.
The actor started her career as a VJ in 2008 on Play TV. She rose to fame for playing Sila Adeel alongside Imran Abbas in the 2013 drama, Dil-e-Muztar. She then went on to host morning shows.
