Musician Salar Shamas accused of sexual misconduct

LAHORE: Musician Salar Shamas has been accused of sexual misconduct including the soliciting of a minor for sexual acts by Wall of Shame, which has substantiated the allegations with screenshots and screen recordings of vulgar and sexually suggestive messages which they allege have been sent by the musician.

Wall of Shame revealed that Salar Shamas “is a singer based in Lahore and a graduate of Beaconhouse National University Lahore. Apart from sexually harassing women, he also threatens them with his “outreach” and influential brother.”

Initially responding to the accusations, Salar held a live session in which he abused Wall of Shame for publishing messages he claimed were completely fake.

In the video, Salar can be heard using unsavoury language for the people who accused him.

In an exclusive conversation with The Pakistan Daily, Salar Shams unequivocally denied the allegations and expressed his willingness to surrender if the allegations could be proven.

“Both the conversations are fake, and are pretending to be me. I have several proofs of this too and will be posting them on my social media once I get an official report from the authorities,” Salar told this correspondent.

“Many influential journalists, actors and artists are sharing these without verifying their authenticity and have literally ruined my life. Responsible journalism could have saved this…” Salar said, making a request to journalists to verify the claims before posting them.

According to Salar, the victims don’t exist and he has made a complaint to FIA regarding these allegations.

“I know the victims don’t exist, but if they do, i’ll surrender. I’m confident, i’m not hiding, i want justice, i want my respect back. I’m an artist, not a rapist,” Salar said.

Wall of Shame did not respond to a request for comment as of the filing of this report.
