Sabalenka beat Anisimova to keep the US Open Crown

NEW YORK:

The world number one Aryna Sabalenka neutralizes Amanda Anisimova to defend its American open crown on Saturday, beating her American opponent in a straight set to secure her fourth Grand Slam title of her career.

Sabalenka relentlessly attacked Anisimova’s game to complete a 6-3, 7-6 (7/3) victory at Arthur Ashe Stadium, which tends its regime to the climax of female tennis.

The 27 -year -old from Belarus had gone to Saturday’s final, knowing that it was her last opportunity to grab a Grand Slam Crown in 2025 after agonizing losses in the Australian and France finals.

Sabalenka atone for these defeats to end Anisimova’s hopes for a remarkable redemption just two months after its traumatic 6-0, 6-0 that fell from Iga Swiatek in the Wimbledon final.

“It’s crazy, all these hard lessons are worth it,” Sabalenka said after becoming the first woman to successfully defend the US Open by Serena Williams in 2014. “I’m speechless right now.”

Anisimova had won six of nine previous meetings against Sabalenka, a run that included a win in the semifinals in Wimbledon.

But a determined Sabalenka, playing in the seventh game of the Grand Slam title of her career, brought all the experience to bring the door to Anisimova’s dream for a Grand Slam title.

“Loss in two finals in a row is great, but it is also extremely tough,” said Anisimova. “I think I didn’t fight hard enough for my dreams today,” revealing that the lighting under the closed roof of the arena had difficulty serving.

“There was no way to adjust, because I couldn’t see the ball when I was serving, and that was a huge shock to my system,” he said.

– Tiebreak Streak –

Sabalenka won the victory once again by proving its incredible bravery at Tiebreaks – winning the 19th consecutive 7/3 switch to fasten in one hour and 34 minutes.

In the meantime, Anisimova has remained her inability to make the most of the break points in basic moments, in strong contrast to Sabalenka, who turned five of her six chance of interrupting it.

This imbalance appeared early in the first set, when Anisimova failed to convert three interruption points as Sabalenka took a 2-0 lead.

However, Anisimova hit back in the third game, lasering, a backhand winner in the corner to win the break point before unfolding a forehand winner to break before holding for 2-2.

With her dynamic behind her and her neighborhoods forcing Sabalenka around the stadium, Anisimova broke again for 3-2.

But that was the catalyst for Sabalenka to increase her game and broke to love before holding back in front.

Anisimova’s Parapaye again serves it in the eighth game, the eighth double-wing seed twice in a fast-paced Sabalenka hand-in-hand sequence of two breaks at 15-40.

Sabalenka did not need further encouragement and was duly converted before holding to get the first set.

Sabalenka punishes another Service game by Anisimova early in the second set and looked at complete control at 3-1.

However, Anisimova was not entirely completely and possessed confidently before breaking back to love to level it at 3-3.

However, the race was short, and when Anisimova broke a wide open forehand to gift a 15-40 lead, the Belarusian once again took the opportunity for a break.

Sabalenka was held for 5-3 and soon served for the match on 5-4. However, he allowed Anisimova from the hook after plowing a spacious break in the net.

Instead of giving her point of struggle, Anisimova had a stoppage she took to give her a salvation.

But Tiebreak Sabalenka reaffirmed her control and threw the 6-1 lead before closing the victory.
