Remains of Priyantha Kumara to be airlifted from Lahore in SriLankan Airlines

ISLAMABAD: The remains of the Late Priyantha Kumara, who was lynched in Sialkot Pakistan on Friday will be airlifted by Sri Lankan Airlines today.

Sri Lankan High Commissioner in Pakistan Vice Admiral Mohan Wijewickrama told said that the remains will be airlifted to Sri Lanka at the expense of the state.

The Pakistan Government has launched a full-scale investigation into the murder, making more than 230 arrests.

SriLankan Airlines flight UL 186 carrying Priyantha Kumara’s remains will leave Lahore at 12.30 pm and is scheduled to arrive at BIA at 5 pm today, according to Foreign Ministry.
