ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan’s ex-wife, Mohtarma Reham Khan has criticised Imran Khan after he refused to give a development budget to PTI’s female MNAs.
The Prime Minister was furious when Shirin Mazari, Ghazala Saifi and others spoke during a meeting with PTI women assembly members.
The Prime Minister said: “I should not be blackmailed, I will not be blackmailed by anyone.”
“We are working side by side with the men in the government. We should also be given a development budget,” Mazari said.
Commenting on the development, human rights activist, Mohtarma Reham Khan said: “The word blackmail seems to be the new favourite of the “Kuptaan”. Demonstrating misogyny the PM is reported to have refused to give development budget to female MNA’s of his own party.”
MNA Ghazala Saifi demanded that women should also be represented in the Karachi package. The people of Karachi voted for her. Conscious citizens are looking at her.
Ghazala Saifi said that the people of Karachi have supported you to help us solve the problems of our constituencies, we also have to work in our constituencies.
