Punjab Job Center Connects Over 1.3 Million Job Seekers with Employers Across the Province

In a major step toward boosting employment and streamlining recruitment, the Punjab Job Center has successfully registered more than 1.3 million job seekers and over 105,000 employers since its inception in August 2022. The initiative is powered by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) in collaboration with the Labour & Human Resource Department (L&HRD).

The digital platform, available at jobcenter.punjab.gov.pk, acts as a centralized employment gateway, connecting job seekers with companies, recruitment firms, skill promoters, and other stakeholders in the job market.

Speaking on the platform’s progress, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf emphasized that the Punjab Job Center promotes merit-based opportunities, enabling skilled individuals to find relevant employment while offering companies a pool of qualified and pre-screened candidates.

“This portal is designed to bridge the gap between opportunity and talent, supporting both public and private sectors in meeting their human resource needs with efficiency and transparency,” Chairman Yousaf stated.

Employers, business owners, and candidates can easily create profiles and access services via the online portal. For added accessibility, job seekers can register by sending their CNIC number to 8900 via SMS, or by messaging the official WhatsApp number 0310-8148900 to receive the registration link.

The initiative is part of Punjab’s broader digital governance and economic empowerment agenda, aiming to enhance workforce participation and improve ease of access to employment opportunities throughout the province.
