PTI to kick off election campaign in Lahore today

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan is to kick off the election campaign from Lahore today and will start the rally from Zaman Park.

PTI leader Musarrat Cheema in a statement announced that the rally will start from Zaman Park at 1 pm and will reach Data Darbar via Ferozepur road.

She said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is afraid of elections which is why they have been attacking the judiciary and they sweat when they hear the name of the election.

Cheema also said that thousands of people will come out on the roads for the rally adding that today the whole of Pakistan will see that the people only want the supremacy of the Constitution.

On the other hand, a former federal minister and President of PTI Sindh chapter Ali Haider Zaidi has announced that the PTI is going to launch a “Sindh Bachao Tehreek” (Save Sindh Movement) from March 17 to 22 to get rid the province and its people of PPP corrupt rulers.
