ISLAMABAD: PTI MNA Abdul Shakoor Shad has announced to boycott today’s budget session.
Shad, a member from NA-246 (Karachi South-I), said that he had requested a special package for Lyari from Prime Minister Imran Khan but was denied.
“I will not attend the budget session,” the PTI lawmaker said, adding that the Sindh government has announced a package for the area despite losing the elections.
“The federal government has no interest in issues related to Sindh and Karachi.”
Shad has not come to Islamabad for the budget session which will be present today.
Federal Budget 2021-22 will be presented in the National Assembly today (Friday).
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government is going to present its third budget, for the fiscal year 2021-22, with an estimated outlay of around Rs 8 trillion.
