PTI gets conditional permission for Faizabad protest

RAWALPINDI: The deputy commissioner allowed PTI to stage a public gathering in the Faizabad area of Rawalpindi.

The permit states that Faizabad should be vacated on the night of November 26.

The notification said that the England team is arriving in Rawalpindi for the Test series against Pakistan.

The Rawalpindi police have been directed to take all necessary security measures for the jalsa.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan and the administration will use the prescribed route decided by the law enforcement agencies, said the notification. It added that Khan will not use a sunroof car before and after the gathering.

It said that the Allama Iqbal Park will not be used by any workers for staying there, adding that no one will be allowed to chant slogans.

The jalsa administration will be responsible for any loss of life, as per the notification. It also stated that the use of drone cameras will not be allowed.
