President Dr Arif Alvi has underscored the need for expeditiously addressing the complaints of the people to provide them relief against the maladministration of government organizations.
The President expressed these views while talking to the Ombudsman of Balochistan, Nazar Muhammad Baloch, who called on him in Islamabad and presented the Provincial Ombudsman’s Annual Report for the year 2021.
Dr Arif Alvi emphasized the need for expanding the outreach of ombudsmen to far-flung areas to provide justice to the people at their doorsteps.
Nazar Muhammad Baloch briefed the President that 1043 complaints were resolved in 2021, out of the total of 2320 complaints.
He said most of the complaints related to education and health departments.
