ISLAMABAD: A very close and personal friend of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Naeem Bukhari has been appointed the Chairman of Pakistan Television (PTV).
The Pakistan Daily has seen the notification issued by the Ministry of Information which confirms Naeem Bukhari’s appointment.
Previously, Naeem Bukhari had represented the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) in the Panama scandal.
In the case, Naeem Bukhari had claimed that there was a contradiction between the statements of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his son Hussain Nawaz.
However, he had received a grilling by Justice Azmat Saeed who had asked him not to repeat arguments.
Congratulations poured in from all quarters for Naeem Bukhari upon taking the new prestigious and lucrative post.
