LAHORE: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday arrived in Lahore on a day-long visit where he met Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar.
Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Bazdar and Punjab Aab-e-Pak Authority Chairman Dr Shakeel were also present during the meeting.
According to the sources, the political and economical situation, the government’s measures against Coronavirus, were discussed during the meeting.
Governor Punjab also briefed about water projects.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that providing shelter and facilitating the poor is the top priority of the government.
The premier added that the International institutions are also recognizing the country’s economic growth and stability.
Prime Minister Imran Khan also asked the Punjab government to implement strict SOPS on covid.
After the meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan left for the Chief Minister’s House.
