ISLAMABAD: Ramiz Raja has officially been declared the new chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for the next three years.
The tenure of the sitting chairman Ehsan Mani is ending on 18th September, after which the charge of the chairman cricket board will be handed over to Ramiz Raja.
The former Test captain-turned commentator Ramiz Raja had emerged as the front runner for the top slot of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
In a recent statement, Ramiz Raja said, “The aim is to reset Pakistan cricket’s GPS and will be in pursuit of excellence.”
Earlier, Ramiz Raja and PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani called on Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan at PM House in connection with the appointment of the next chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as Mani’s term is due to end this month.
