PM destroyed institutions along with country, says Maulana Fazalur Rehman

ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that the prime minister has destroyed the institutions along with the country and the government has come to sink the country.

Talking to the media after offering condolences over the death of the nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan at his residence on Wednesday, he said that their stance had always been the same – each one should remain in its domain of power.

He said that they are worried that no one should cause damage to the country.

The PDM chairman said that they want to free the country from the imposed people. “We want the resolution of this issue amicably,” he added.

He said that our position is that everyone should remain within their constitutional jurisdiction adding that we want to liberate the nation from the selected rulers.

Fazlur Rehman said that we have to get out of the situation wisely as the situation is changing from moment to moment.

Fazlur Rehman further added that the lieutenant general is bound by the order of the army chief, this authority is not to the extent that anyone sticks to it, the prime minister is standing on the wrong thing in an ignorant manner.

PDM chief said that the lieutenant general is subordinate to the army chief, the prime minister should not interfere to the extent that the system is affected, all matters go hand in hand with a consultation.

He also said that the difficulties were due to the fact that someone else had interfered in the work of the army and the army in the parliament.
