PITB and PEEF Officials Are Signing Agreement- The Pakistan Daily

The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) have entered into a formal agreement for the development of a cutting-edge Scholarship Management System.

As per the agreement, PITB will design and develop a secure, scalable, and modern digital platform tailored to the operational and technical needs of PEEF. The system aims to digitize all stages of the scholarship process—streamlining disbursement, improving transparency, and ensuring timely delivery of financial assistance to eligible students.

The signing ceremony was held under the chairmanship of Waqar Naeem Qureshi, Director General IT Solutions (PITB), and Muzaffar Haq Hashmi, CEO of PEEF. The agreement was signed by Atta-ur-Rehman, Director Development & Procurement (PITB), and Muzaffar Haq Hashmi on behalf of PEEF.

Key officials including Sajjad Qureshi, Joint Director (PITB), and Aamna Mehmood, Acting Manager MIS (PEEF), were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the partnership, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf stated that PITB remains committed to integrating effective technological solutions in the education sector.

“This digital system will enhance transparency and ensure that thousands of deserving students receive their scholarships in a timely and efficient manner,” he said.

He further emphasized that the digitization of public services is at the core of PITB’s mission, and this initiative marks a significant step forward in transforming education sector governance through technology.
