ISLAMABAD: Family of former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf has rejected the reports circulating on social media about his death. However, the family said he was going through a difficult stage where recovery was not possible as organs were malfunctioning.
The family members confirmed that he was not on the ventilator though. They said he had been hospitalised for the last three weeks because of a complication of his ailment (Amyloidosis).
Earlier, reports were doing rounds on social media some suggesting that Pervez Musharraf had died and others that he had been put on a ventilator.
They requested the people to pray for ease in his daily living.
