Dubai: The scene is set for yet another high -octane meeting, such as Pakistan’s lock horns with India leaders at the Super Four Clash of Asia Cup on Sunday at the virtual stage of Dubai’s international cricket.

Coach Mike Hesson and Captain Salman Ali Agha have devised a strategy for tackling the Indian stroke with fast bowling instead of rotating this time.

Pakistan, who lost to India with seven Wickets in Group A for India last Sunday, will make two changes from the part of the United Arab Emirates in the last match of the team. The young Batter Hassan Nawaz and Khushdil Shah are likely to lose today’s meeting, according to sources.

Faheem Ashraf is expected to make a return, while Hussain Talat is also likely to play his first Asian Cup match.

The team’s management has been selected 12 players for Pakistan’s first super Four against India. However, Khushdil Shah, who was included in Faheem Ashraf’s position for the fight against the UAE, is unlikely to make the final XI.

Pakistan is likely to play xi:

Saim Ayub, Sahibzada Farhan, Fakhar Zaman, Salman Ali Agha (Captain), Mohammad Nawaz, Hussain Talat, Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Haris (Wicketkeper), Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Haris Rauf, Abrar Ahmed.

Earlier on Saturday, Pakistani Cricket President (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, met with team members during a practice meeting at Dubai Sports City Academy Round.

Meanwhile, Andy Pycroft remains responsible as a referee match for Dubai’s foot, despite Pakistan’s request for a full investigation into last week’s handshake.
