Nawaz blames Gen Bajwa, Faiz for bringing Imran Khan into power

LONDON/ISLAMABAD: PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif has blamed army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and DG ISI General Faiz Hameed for bringing Prime Minister Imran Khan into power.
Addressing a historic public gathering in Gujranwala which drew in supports numbering hundreds of thousands organised by the Pakistan Democratic Movement, the PMLN supremo raised the stakes in the fight against the establishment.
Nawaz Sharif asked who was responsible for Pakistan woes.
“General Bajwa, you are responsible for the woes of the nation. You sent our well functioning government packing and placed our nation and people at the whims of your desires.
“The buying and selling of parliamentarians, which we had stopped, you restarted it. You pressurised judges to write decisions of your liking. The actions against Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui and Justice Qazi Faeez Isa were done on your orders,” former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif said.
In what is being described as a historic speech which has fundamentally changed Pakistani politics forever, Nawaz Sharif has placed all his cards on the table.
PDM leaders Maryam Nawaz, Bilawal Bhutto and Maulana Fazlur Rehman are due to address the crowds shortly.
Responding to the rally, the Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry tweeted that he was watching Cricket highlight and expressed pity towards the opposition.
Minister for Information Shibli Faraz was also present on the occasion.
