MPA Valsai requests CM Sindh to ensure supply of drinking supply in Mithi town

MITHI: Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh For Human Rights, Surendar Valasai, who is also a Thari PPP MPA has requested Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah to issue the directions to the officials to ensure the availability of drinking water to the residents of Mithi town.

“The residents of different Mohallahs of Mithi city have been facing acute shortage of drinking water for many weeks, especially during the holy month of Ramzan” added Mr Valasai in a letter written to Chief Minister Sindh on Monday.

He apprehended that the water scarcity was causing anger and indignation among the people and that remedial actions needed to be taken notice of at the earliest with the directives to the concerned authorities to restore the water supply without any further delay.

“There are also reports that certain lower staff of Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) are discriminating certain areas for water supply ” he continued.

“It is , therefore requested that kindly issue directives to the concerned authorities for judicious supply of water to all the neighbourhoods without any discrimination” he concluded.
