LAHORE: Mohtarma Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Mehrunnisa Safdar suffered a head injury after she met a road accident in Lahore on Sunday.
Shortly after the accident, Mehrunissa Safdar was taken to Sharif Medical City where she underwent surgery and was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Mohtarma Maryam Nawaz Sharif confirmed that her daughter is out of danger.
She wrote: “Thank you every one for your prayers and good wishes. My daughter is severely injured with a bad head injury but Alhamdolillahi Rabb-Al-Aalameen, she is out of danger. Allah bless you all.”

After hearing the news of her daughter’s accident, Mohtarma Maryam Nawaz cancelled her trip to Karachi for the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s rally in Hyderabad on February 9.
