Mohtarma Maryam Nawaz will go to Quetta to condole with Hazaras

LAHORE/BANNU: PML-N Vice President Mohtarma Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced that she will go to condole with the Hazara community on the instructions of her father, Mian Nawaz Sharif.

Thousands of protesters in Balochistan continued a sit-in in a bitting cold on Wednesday, saying they would not bury their dead relatives until PM Khan visited the province and ensured justice.

Gunmen abducted a group of minority Hazara Shia coal miners and killed 11 early Sunday, Pakistani officials said. The terrorist group Daesh has claimed the gruesome attack, according to SITE Intelligence, which monitors militant activities worldwide.

Families of the victims placed the dead bodies on a road connecting Quetta with Sukkar on Sunday, but later moved them to the provincial capital where they have been sitting with the coffins on a major highway since.

Maryam Nawaz took to twitter and expressed her grief to Hazara Community saying, “I urge you to hand over the bodies of your loved ones to Allah Almighty and bury them,” adding “May Allah Forgive them and elevate their ranks and give you patience, Ameen”.

PML-N leader further told the grieving Hazara community that whole nation shares their grief and she along with her father, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, are also very sad about the tragedy that has happened. “My sad mothers, sisters! Such a brutal murder of your loved ones is not a trivial tragedy,” she wrote.

“Don’t wait for an insensitive and stone-hearted man as he is not accountable to you or to the people,” Maryam wrote, referring to Prime Minister Imran.
