
LARKANA: A day after the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) hosted the rally in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz along with PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and his sister Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari visited the mausoleum of martyrs at Garhi Khuda Bukhsh graveyard of the Bhutto family.
According to reports, the delegation offered fateh and laid a floral wreath at the tomb of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, her father and brothers. Maryam’s spouse Capt (retd) Muhammad Safdar, PML-N leaders Marriyam Aurangzeb and Pervez Rasheed, PPP’s Sherry Rehman and others also accompanied them during the visit.
The delegation also visited the shuhada galley [martyrs’ gallery] where pictures of the PPP leaders and workers who lost their lives in Karsaz bomb blast and other incidents were displayed.
Mr Bhutto-Zardari himself drove his car with Maryam sitting in the front seat of the vehicle from the Bhutto House in Naudero to Garhi Khuda Bakhsh.
Maryam had reached the Bhutto house in Naudero on the night of December 26 to attend the Benazir Bhutto’s 13th death anniversary at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, an annual event held to pay tribute to the slain ex-prime minister. She was received by Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari and Faryal Talpur.
