LAHORE: Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi paid a grand total of Zero rupees in income taxes between 2008 and 2021, leaked FBR documents reveal.
Naqvi, who also serves as the CEO of City Media Group owns mega properties in Lahore, however, he did not pay a single rupee in taxes throughout his career till 2021.
City Media Group includes the national Channel 24 and local City 42 channel alongside international channels which include but are not limited to UK44.
Mohsin Naqvi’s business holdings are not limited to City Media Group. He owns Image Management Consultant, M/S Property 92 and Step In Air Travel according to his declared returns in the Federal Board of Revenue.

The documents were exposed by exiled Pakistani journalised Waqas Ahmed.
Only twelve years ago, Mohsin Naqvi lived in a one-kanal rented home in X Block, DHA Lahore, today he lives in a twelve-kanal sprawling Gulberg mansion, however, no income tax was paid in Naqvi’s story of rags to riches.
According to Naqvi’s former landlord, he was a disastrous tenant who used political influence to avoid paying petty cash.
No longer in need of a rental property to reside in, Naqvi’s new home in posh Gulberg is currently going through a major reconstruction which includes a brand new gate.
Sources reveal that Naqvi had bought the plot beside his home to add to the size of his posh mansion.
Others claim that a guest house for Asif Zardari is being constructed there.
Previously, Asif Zardari had stated that Naqvi was his “child” whilst speaking to Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.
A Punjab Government Spokesperson told The Pakistan Daily that City News Network paid all relevant taxes and that Mohsin Naqvi’s income and expenses are reflected in that.
