Meghan Markle’s unofficial ‘mouthpiece’, Omid Scobie, has just come under fire for trying to claim that the monarchy will not survive after Prince William.
All the claims have been issued by royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams and he touched on the matter in an interview with Express UK.
The debate started as soon as Mr Fitzwilliams started referring to the book Endgame which carries a very critical picture of the monarchy.

Referring to his claims about Prince William, the insider is quoted as saying: “Harry and Meghan initially denied working with him [Finding Freedom]. However, it was later revealed, during her court case against the Mail on Sunday, that she had authorized a senior aide to tip off the writers and that Harry had supported concealing their involvement with the book.
“This has been the subject of speculation for a long time given the nature of its content. Omid Scobie was known as the unofficial spokesman for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”

In an attempt to compare the two on content, author Mr Fitzwilliams added: “He claims the Sussexes had nothing to do with Endgame and even denied being friends with Meghan. Sources close to the Sussexes also denied any involvement with the book.”
“Endgame is known to be extremely critical of the monarchy. Few, I suspect, will believe that Scobie has any authority for his dire predictions that the institution is in freefall after Queen Elizabeth’s death.
“Apparently he thinks it will disappear or become irrelevant in the future.”
Before concluding, he sent a jab at Omid Scobie and added, “I’m sure he’ll still fascinate us when any trace of Scobie, who is clearly light, is long forgotten.”
