Manchster United Face Competition for Hugo Ekitike In the midst of searching offensive

Manchester United are in the fight to secure the signature of Hugo Ekitike, with Newcastle United and several leading European clubs who also seek the frakfurt striker.

United has closely watched the 22 -year -old’s performances this season as they seek to strengthen their aggressive choices in the summer transport window. However, Frankfurt is expected to require a significant transfer fee after Omar Marmoush’s transition to Manchester City in January.

Former chief detector of the Mick Brown club said earlier this year that United priority is prioritized to a new striker, citing concerns about Rasmus Højlund and Joshua Zirkzee.

Meanwhile, Newcastle, long-term fans of Ekitike, had previously had a bid of 30 million pounds that was accepted by Stade de Reims in 2022, but Forward chose to participate in Paris Saint-Germain instead.

Frankfurt’s attitude to Ekitike

Frankfurt is willing to keep Ekitike over the summer, but provides offers, especially after his hat-trick for France’s Under-21 against England has drew further interest in the Premier League.

Detectors from many clubs watched the race, increasing the competition for its signature. As a result, Frankfurt is expected to set a high demanded price and is unlikely to enter the negotiations that could reduce its value.

United has also been connected to Harry Kane, Viktor Gyökeres and Jean-Philippe Mateta as they explore options to enhance their attack.

Man United Transfer Strategy

As part of their plans to reform the team, United is open to the sale of Højlund, with a price of £ 50m for the Danish striker.

However, interested associations have been discouraged by the valuation and are considering alternative goals.

Brown recently suggested that Højlund has no long -term future in Old Trafford and the club is actively seeking its replacement.

With the approaching summer window, United is expected to make decisive moves in pursuing a new striker.
