LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday permitted Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Mian Shehbaz Sharif to fly abroad for medical treatment.
The Court in its conditional permission allowed Shahbaz Sharif to go abroad from May 8 to July 5.
Shahbaz had approached the court to grant him permission, citing having gone to London earlier and returned.
During today’s court proceedings, the PML-N president produced a return ticket showing his intent to do the same this time around.
The court granted bail against the submission of two surety bonds of Rs5 million each.
