Kendall Jenner drives Bond Girl Bets

Kendall Jenner drives Bond Girl Bets

The model and star of the reality Kendall Jenner has unexpectedly to become the name on everyone’s lips in the last round of Bond girls’ speculation.

The 29-year-old is today’s pioneer with bookmakers to take on the coveted role in the upcoming restart of James Bond, a shake-up franchise that has already powered years of industry blanket.

According to Coral, Jenner’s chances of starring the next 007 have been dramatically reduced to 1/2, making her a favorite after a bet to her advantage.

A company spokesman confirmed that “he jumped to the top of the next Bond Girl bets after strong support in recent days”, adding that he is now likely to be involved in the film.

Other bookmakers paint a slightly different image. Paddy Power today quotes Sydney Sweeney as their leading candidate on 2/1, with Florence Pugh and Ariana Grande also ranking in front of Jenner.

Their chances place Jenner in fourth place on 8/1, but its name continues to stand in a fan forum and in news entertainment stores.

The likelihood of Jenner entering the Bond universe has divided the opinion. While being one of the most recognizable faces in fashion and reality television thanks to her work with brands such as Gucci and her role in The Kardashians, her active experience is limited.

Her few credits include a Camea in Hawaii five -0 in 2012 and appearances as herself in films such as Ocean’s 8. Ocean critics have questioned whether her star is only enough to play such a virtual role.

However, Jenner would not be the first model to go to a Bond Girl territory. Ursula Andress, who became a cultural image after “Dr. Not in 1962, and Olga Kourilenko, who starred in “Quantum of Solace” in 2008, both started their career in the hallway before breaking the film until 007.

The speculation about who will play Bond himself continues to enraged, with names such as Aaron Taylor-Johnson, James Norton and Callum Turner floating, though director Denis Villeneuve suggested that the next 007 will probably be a relatively unknown British actor.

For the time being, the debate has been steadily shifted to Jenner, whose rise to betting markets has added a stunning twist to the casting epic. Whether he really makes the jump from Supermodel to a secret agent, he remains to see, but the chances suggest that Hollywood may be ready to play on him.
