It’s suspicious that Gen Bajwa’s report on IG Sindh kidnapping hasn’t been released: Nawaz Sharif
ISLAMABAD/LONDON: Former Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif has expressed suspicion on the delay of the report promised by army chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa on the kidnapping of IG Sindh on the night of Capt Safdar’s arrest from a Karachi hotel.
Over a dozen senior officers of Pakistan’s Police Services had resigned, protesting the disrespect of their commander by elements of the ‘deep state’ but the situation was neutralised after the army chief called PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and promised a report in 10 days.
Over two weeks have passed since the promise made by the army chief but it has not been fulfilled, causing former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif to express suspicion to media personnel outside his son’s office in London.
Nawaz Sharif confirmed that this issue would be raised on Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM) platform.
Nawaz Sharif also expressed satisfaction over Ayaz Sadiq’s clarification regarding his statements in the assembly.
“The sooner Imran Khan is taken back by the people who brought him, the better. Otherwise, the problem for Pakistan will increase and also for those who brought him.
“There is no second opinion on this. And the more delay in removing Khan is contributing to the crisis in Pakistan. The only solution to Pakistan’s problems is the removal of Imran Khan as PM.”
Targetting the establishment, Nawaz Sharif said that the one’s who brought Imran Khan were responsible for the crisis in the country.
“They brought, now they have to remove him”, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said about Imran Khan.
Nawaz Sharif said that Imran Khan had destroyed Pakistan in the last two years and everyone could see the destruction caused by the incompetence of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
